Why do we like this?
I’ve been on a huge Bonobo kick lately, so when this song landed in my lap it was love at first listen.
Ralph Hendrik happens to be a former write over here at Indie Shuffle. He’s got good taste, and clearly has some musical chops as well. His latest effort “Keep Me” reminds me a lot of Bonobo, with a Bibio-esque guitar lick. The underlying rhythm gives it a good energetic kick, and the melody manages to resonate with me every time it comes on.
