Miguel – All I Want Is You lyrics

(feat. J. Cole)

[Verse 1: J. Cole]
Damn, damn
Damn, Cole World
I never thought I see that day that you my ol’ girl
Now I’m stuck here hollerin’ at old girl
Got one, got two, three, four girls
Shotgun in the drop made a right
Hut one, hut two, told them hoes take a hike
Then it’s on to the next, on, on to the next one
Hard to move on when you always regret one

[Verse 2: Miguel]
I wonder sometimes
I wonder if I was wrong
Tryna do right by you got me here
Now all I am is alone

[Pre-Chorus]
‘Cause her eyes, n’ those hips
And that ass, don’t compare
At all, no
And at best all they do is distract me but now
Deep down when I face it

[Chorus: Miguel]
All I want is you
All I want is you, now
All I want is you now
Now that you’re gone, gone, gone

[Verse 3: Miguel]
‘Cause being your friend is killin’ me softly
Hear voices, wonder where I went wrong
It was my fault and the wrong time
I wonder so often, regret gets exhaustin’

[Pre-Chorus]
‘Cause her eyes, n’ those hips
And that ass, don’t compare
At all, no
And at best all they do is distract me but now
Deep down when I face it

[Chorus: Miguel]
All I want is you, mmh
All I want is you, now
All I want is you now, sugar
Now that you’re gone, gone, gone
All I want is you, ooh-ooh, ooh
All I want is you, now
All I want is you now, baby
Now that you’re gone, gone, gone
Gone, gone

[Post-Chorus: Miguel & J. Cole]
‘Cause they don’t smile or smell like you
And they don’t make me laugh or even cook like you
And they don’t photograph, nah, they don’t sex like you
Let’s face it (yeah), I can’t replace it (yeah)
That’s why all I want is you now

[Verse 4: J. Cole]
I hit the club when you left me thinking that could heal shit
Tryna celebrate my Independence Day, Will Smith
Baby girl who I’m kidding? Still sick, real shit
All my new hoes seem to get old real quick
And could it be, you everything that these plain bitches couldn’t be?
Is it a sign from the Lord that I shouldn’t be
Lost in the player way, sorta get old to me
Got me on layaway, girl you got a hold on me
I say, “I’m wrong”, you say, “Come again?”
Damn, said I was wrong, look don’t rub it in
I got a lot on my mind, got a flock full of dimes
Like a line full of hoes, how they coming in
Just sayin’, don’t wanna have me then somebody will
I’m playin’, weight on my chest like I body build
I’m prayin’, you ain’t content with tryna do your thang
And come back baby, boomerang

[Chorus: Miguel]
That’s why all I want is you now
All I want is you, now
All I want is you now, sugar
Now that you’re gone, gone, gone
Gone, gone

[Outro: Miguel]
Ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh, oh
Yeah, now that you’re gone, gone, gone
I want you back

The Wallflowers – One Headlight

So long ago, I don’t remember when
That’s when they say I lost my only friend
Well they said she died easy of a broken heart disease
As I listened through the cemetery trees

I seen the sun comin’ up at the funeral at dawn
The long broken arm of human law
Now it always seemed such a waste
She always had a pretty face
So I wondered how she hung around this place

[Chorus]
Hey, come on try a little
Nothing is forever
There’s got to be something better than
In the middle
But me & Cinderella,
We put it all together
We can drive it home
With one headlight

She said it’s cold
It feels like Independence Day
And I can’t break away from this parade
But there’s got to be an opening
Somewhere here in front of me
Through this maze of ugliness and greed
And I seen the sun up ahead
At the county line bridge
Sayin’ all there’s good and nothingness is dead
We’ll run until she’s out of breath
She ran until there’s nothin’ left
She hit the end-it’s just her window ledge

[Chorus]
Hey, come on try a little
Nothing is forever
There’s got to be something better than
In the middle
But me & Cinderella,
We put it all together
We can drive it home
With one headlight

Well this place is old
It feels just like a beat up truck
I turn the engine, but the engine doesn’t turn
Well it smells of cheap wine & cigarettes
This place is always such a mess
Sometimes I think I’d like to watch it burn
I’m so alone, and I feel just like somebody else
Man, I ain’t changed, but I know I ain’t the same
But somewhere here in between the city walls of dyin’ dreams
I think her death it must be killin’ me

[Chorus]
Hey, come on try a little
Nothing is forever
There’s got to be something better than
In the middle
But me & Cinderella,
We put it all together
We can drive it home
With one headlight

Nick Cannon & Kreesha Turner Talks ‘King of the Dancehall’

Nick Cannon new dancehall movie “King of the Dancehall” was premiered on August 2nd on YouTube Red and the reviews have been great.

Cannon revealed that he wanted to premiere the film around the time of Jamaica’s Independence Day celebration and he did just that because now there is a buzz around the movie inside the dancehall space. Kreesha Turner, who made her acting debut in the film, sat down with Nick Cannon for an interview on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning where she opened up about her thoughts on the highly anticipated film.

“I have to say that there was a moment when I got teary eyed because I was so proud of the images that were captured like the edge but the beauty of Kingston and even the dance culture,” Turner said. “So many people heard about dancehall culture but they don’t know about the sub culture of dancehall dancing. We have our dance celebrities and there is just such a surge in this vibrant community that the world doesn’t even realize how it impact the word. To Me I am a little bias, Jamaica is one of the most influencial nations in the world musically.”

If you haven’t seen the movie yet then you should check out “King of the Dancehall” on YouTube Red.

Tech N9ne – Mo’ Ammo (feat. Murs & Rittz) (Dominion Deluxe Version Album)

[Verse 1: Murs]
I’m in my bass pro camo, lookin’ like a Rambo
Military sack strapped with some Roman candles
I’m ’bout to light it up like it’s Independence Day
I do it underground, that’s the independent way
I got a dinner date, I’m ten minutes late
With this chick that I met up on the internate
I mean the internet, I mean that fucking app
I mean a meth head, I met her in the fucking trap (huh?)
No, what the fuck is that?
I met her at a show (oh)
I’m like Jeezy, selling tickets like it’s fucking snow
Or like I’m Yeezy, selling Yeezys, I’ll be Goddamned
You gotta buy these VIP tickets, understand?
I mean a stream is just a dream unless you’re front row
A million views, we lookin’ good, but no dough
I’m in the booth whippin’ merch like I’m in the kitchen
Strange Music going stupid, it’s your new addiction

[Hook: Murs]
We got guns, dope, clips for mo’ ammo
Rhyming like a quarter key inside the door panel
Put your ear to the speaker, get you high
Don’t this music feel like you can fly?
Guns, dope, clips for mo’ ammo
Rhyming like a quarter key inside the door panel
Put your ear to the speaker, get you high
Don’t this music feel like you can fly?

[Verse 2: Rittz]
Look, if you ain’t gave me my props yet, you late as fuck
I like to think that I’m top five like Jada does
Speeding past these rappers like they traffic cops with radar guns
And counting so much money that my fingertips got paperc uts
You play and talk to me, you sweet as lemonade or punch
Can’t you say that captain saved a slut, I met your lady once
We fucked and now it turned into a weekly visit
Got her hooked like I was deep sea fishing
And she mean business, she says she love to ride it all night
I really get head and she got suction like a Dyson Upright
I seen the sunlight, woke up and play some Maxwell
She open wide and sat still
I fucked her throat and filmed it, now that’s what I call a gag reel
Again and again we win, while all you do is catch L’s
My father ain’t a farmer but his son became a cash cow
Revolvers on as fuck if you a boxer or a black belt
Should’ve packed, yeah
Go back on my double time shit and I bet you I spazz out

[Hook: Murs]
We got guns, dope, clips for mo’ ammo
Rhyming like a quarter key inside the door panel
Put your ear to the speaker, get you high
Don’t this music feel like you can fly?
Guns, dope, clips for mo’ ammo
Rhyming like a quarter key inside the door panel
Put your ear to the speaker, get you high
Don’t this music feel like you can fly?

[Verse 3: Tech N9ne]
Growed with killas who rolled with Milla’s
Some soulless niggas who go get liquor then blow spliffs wit ya
Popo suspicious we sold tricks fixes to hold big riches
These roguish wishes is so ridiculous
Bogus bitches you Ho’s fictitious and Low wit glitches
The Dough made you notice DIBKIS (I gotta stop)
Flows is gifted I get throwed get twisted then bro gets wicked when I spit I’m bout to kill em and a soul is lifted (That nigga hot)
My rap assignment give the industry an alignment rapper’s ain’t goin straight no mo’
Image really need refinement let a nigga help recreate yo flow, and I’m gon’ design it to make mo’ dough shake mo Ho’s hey bro bro, this that N9ne shit! trippin! (why?)
Cause I been drinkin like a camel, (yeah?)
Tried to play me like a piano, (yeah?)
Now I’m about to go Rambo packin’ mo’ ammo nigga!

[Hook: Murs]
We got guns, dope, clips for mo’ ammo
Rhyming like a quarter key inside the door panel
Put your ear to the speaker, get you high
Don’t this music feel like you can fly?
