If you’ve ever watched a storm in slow motion, the ethereal feeling of the chaos slowing down, the lightning breathing into life over the forest. Rhye has designed a sound that is as chaotically emotional as it is slow, intimate, and destructive.

“Shadow In The Storm” is the cinematography of Alfonso Cuarón meets the intimate destruction of a bittersweet romance and I can’t get enough.

Tears in Slow Motion

A track that got me hooked on its Nirvana-esque guitar intro and the build-up to its immense break. “Tears Are Falling” is a track that will become a Black Polish staple.

I cannot explain how confused I was when this track started, it had me hooked, but I thought I was listening to a new age rendition of a Nirvana song, needless to say, the track dived into the new age soft punk sound we’ve become so accustomed to with the likes of Billie Eilish.

The track is so good at creating atmosphere, it delves into a whirlwind of expressive sounds and emotions that feel like they’re all tumbling down a waterfall.

An absolute vibe.
