Thin Lips – South America Lyrics

Take a look in through my eyes
Stretch out through my spine
Call me anything you need
To settle out your stomach in time

If you’d aim some
You could hit much better
It’s a shame, son
That you can’t read my mind

Well, I’ve done a lot of touring
But dating other people was boring
I don’t really blame you if you’re tired of my shit

Now you’ll go to South America with a woman that you only met last month
Now you’ll go to South America with a woman that you only met last month

If you’d change some
We could fit much better
It’s a shame, son
That you can’t read my mind

I told you all that I was good for
Take in some, then you take in some more
Just because I call it doesn’t mean that I don’t care

I think you enjoy this
I think that you like it when I seem unsteady
Think you’re avoidant when I’m talkin’ on that fate
There’s another same
I loved you but I never said I’d be there every day
I’ll never be your boyfriend with a condo by the bay

Now you’ll go to South America with a woman that you only met last month
Now you’ll go to South America with a woman that you only met last month

Let’s hear the line
The one that goes, “Chris, I’ve never seen you try”
The line
The one that goes, “All I’ve done is try”

Vershon Eyes Latin Dancehall Market With New Song “Te Amo”

Vershon eyes the latin dancehall market with his brand new single “Te Amo.”

The track was recently released on the Dirty Memories Riddim, produced by Konsequence Music/J1 Productions. The dancehall deejay says the single has the potential to be a big hit especially among his female fan base. “I am currently working on a number of projects with an emphasis on Te Amo because of the feedback we have been getting,” Vershon said. “Right now, we will be launching an aggressive promotional campaign around it and others singles heading into the last quarter of the year. So, fans can look out for a lot of upcoming activities from me.”

Vershon says that the early feedback has been good so far and his team is currently pushing it in the overseas market particularly in Central and South America.

“The women are loving this song, and they love the Spanish vibe, especially the chorus with Te Amo. Right now, Latin America is a huge market for music. That region has seen a surge in Internet use, mobile-phone ownership, and social networking, so it would be a mistake to ignore that part of the market,” he added.

Vershon, who scored a number of hits in Jamaica over the past two year, says he is now focusing on the international market. Latin America has been seeing a big surge in music and media consumption and one of the genre gaining the most traction in that market is dancehall.

Corporate Avenger – Evolved Lyrics

CORPORATE AVENGER
Evolved Lyrics

Indians are not chinamen, some books contain lies.
If man had evolved from apes, there would be no more apes.
It has been said and written over and over again that the first north
Americans followed migrations of animals on a land bridge from asia into the north America due to
exposed land which occured during the low sea levels of the last ice age.
It has been said that there is no historic record of these early pioneers the
last of which crossed supposedly at 10,000 years ago, even though great
civilizations, with great structures already existed in north and South America.

If man had evolved from apes, there would be no more apes.
Oh, the truth feels good.
All this is quoted as fact with absolutely no consideration to the common
sense notion that as an ice age recedes it does so from the warmest parts of
the earth around the equator, to the north and to the south towards poles.
This grear land bridge theory subliminally suggest that the people who were
native to this land were not native at all but mere descendants of immigrants.
If man had evolved from apes, there would be no more apes.
Oh, the truth feels good.

Passenger – When We Were Young

We used to never say never
Used to think we’d live forever
Flying free beneath the sun

Days go running and hiding
The weeks go slipping and sliding
Years leave quicker every time they come
Remember when we were young

Look back to the best of days
Collecting our yesterdays
As they build up one by one

Oh how we beg and we borrow
Say we’ll do it tomorrow
But tomorrow never seems to come

We used to never say never
Used to think we’d live forever
Flying free beneath the sun

Days go running and hiding
The weeks go slipping and sliding
Years leave quicker every time they come
Remember when we were young

And we were boys on the beach
Everything was in reach
I know it’s hard to remember

But oh how the years they vanish
I always wanted to learn Spanish
And travel ’round South America

We used to never say never
Used to think we’d live forever
Flying free beneath the sun

Days go running and hiding
The weeks go slipping and sliding
Years leave quicker every time they come

Remember when we were young [x3]
